Vision of the Harvest

"Do you not say, "There are still four months and then comes the harvest?" Behold, I say lift you eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for the harvest!" John 4:35

The Vision:
The Vision of the Harvest (VOTH) is established to be in agreement with the vision of our Lord Jesus. His vision for the world is to “win souls and make disciples of all nations...” To achieve His vision, Jesus worked closely with twelve men who He prepared to continue His mission on the earth. Following the Lord’s pattern, the apostle Paul also trained a number of men who became great leaders of the Church. This mentoring practice is called the “principle of the twelve.”

The Message:
Shiloh Ministries is implementing this “principle of the twelve”. This simple but powerful principle of the twelve is becoming our means of following Jesus in winning souls and making disciples. The Vision of the Harvest at Shiloh is a ministry, not a program. As
such its focus is on scriptural relationships and equipping as its means of fulfillment. This focus is intended to prepare every Believer to become a multiplying leader who can disciple others.

There are three primary elements to the VOTH at Shiloh, as described below.
  1. The Journey - This is the introduction to the VOTH ministry. It begins with four classes known as Pre-Encounter classes. Next is the Encounter, a Friday evening and Saturday devoted to an intense focus on the repentance, transformed character, new direction and renewed love that are ours through the cross of Christ. The journey concludes with seven Post Encounter classes.
  2. Discovery Courses  - These are three courses, each having ten lessons, that build on The Journey. These courses are designed to firmly establish students in steadily  increasing levels of further equipping that prepare them to carry out the mission of the VOTH.
  3. Vision Groups - Small group meetings where the relationships and equipping mentioned above are put into practice, thus applying the “principle of twelve”.
You are warmly invited to participate in the VOTH. Please join any of our Vision Groups. Our Vision Group  Leaders would be delighted to have you. You are welcome to contact any of the Vision Group Leader for further information or assistance.
